Site is impressive. I see that content has grown,

and that site concept has expanded to include related

esteem-building actvities (esteem-"preservation" activities, in the case of high self-esteem people.)

Miguel

Question: what is role of blank box below this one in which I am typing?

activities

Hi Bob, thanks for posting our pet therapy experience. We have been doing it about seven years now and love it.

There are other activities at nursing homes and ALF's that I would like to mention. For example: ice cream sundae social, usually held early in the afternoon. A good way to encourage families and kids to come by and visit and share an ice cream cone. Or how about "Happy Hour" usually after dinner on a Friday or Saturday, for the adults to be able to share a glass of wine or beer. Stan and I have seen these activities at the Bridge and Orange City nursing home.

Anyway... just some ideas... keep up the good work!

Terri

Hi, my name is Bob Clay: I'm the moderator of Equality Technology's computer friends forum. I'm also the guy who created the Equality Technology web site (and the theories behind it).

If you start a topic, it can be on any subject you think might interest the other members. Asking questions would be a good start. If you would like, you could pre-write your message in a word processor then cut and past it in the message area. If you have any problems or questions email me at rhc16@verizon.net. Thank you for joining our (my) forum. Don't miss the spell checker below (I'd be lost without it)!
